KKR and Capital Group Launch Public Private Investment Solutions

KKR and Capital Group reached the latest milestone in their strategic partnership with the launch of their two initial public-private investment funds focused on fixed income strategies. The two companies first announced that they were forming a strategic partnership to expand access to private markets investments in May 2024, with a specific goal of reaching the 95% of Americans who have not historically had access to these investments and their diversification benefits.

The newly launched investment products are just the beginning and new solutions are currently being developed to provide access to additional private markets asset classes.  Importantly, the funds offer a number of attractive features to individual investors, including a compelling fee, low investment threshold and attractive liquidity terms. The firms have also worked on developing a comprehensive educational program to support financial advisors in helping their clients reach financial goals by incorporating these products into their portfolios.

This initiative complements KKR’s broader efforts to help individuals access the same high quality investment opportunities that the firm has been offering to institutional investors for decades.  

KKR and Capital Group are highly aligned, with collaborative cultures and complementary strengths in private and public investing. Capital Group, home of the well-known American Funds is the largest active investment manager in the world, with $2.8 trillion in assets under management¹.
