KKR has been working with insurance companies since the 1970s when the first insurance clients invested with our Firm.  Today, KKR manages assets across public and private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and private equity on behalf of over 150 global insurers.  In addition to investing on behalf of insurance companies, KKR provides retirement, financial security, and investment solutions through its wholly-owned insurance subsidiary, Global Atlantic and its issuing companies. 

Through our ownership of Global Atlantic, which we fully acquired in 2024, we provide the full breadth of KKR’s investment expertise and resources for the benefit of Global Atlantic’s investment portfolio. Our work originating and managing assets and developing opportunities for Global Atlantic also enhances our expertise for the benefit of all of our global insurance clients.
