With the support of an equity investment from KKR’s Global Impact fund, GreenCollar is helping governments, corporates and individuals address climate change-related challenges through projects that generate revenue and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As part of its commitment to fostering an ownership culture, KKR implemented Australia’s first-ever private equity-backed broad-based ownership program at GreenCollar, which is also the first for its Global Impact Fund. KKR exited its investment in GreenCollar in 2023.
