Dane E. Holmes (San Francisco) joined KKR in 2023. Prior to joining, Mr. Holmes was a member of KKR’s Board of Directors from March 2021 to December 2023. Mr. Holmes was previously the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eskalera, Inc., from 2020 to 2023, an enterprise software company he co-founded. Prior to Eskalera, Mr. Holmes was the global head of human capital management at Goldman Sachs from 2017 to 2019 and served as a member of the firm’s management committee. He held many positions at Goldman Sachs from 2001 to 2017, including global head of investor relations, and Mr. Holmes served on a variety of committees, including its risk committee, client and business standards committee, and global diversity committee. Mr. Holmes serves on several non-profit boards and is currently the Chair of StoryCorps and the former chair and current board member of The Ron Brown Scholar Program. In 2024, Mr. Holmes received the John Jay Award from Columbia University. Mr. Holmes earned a B.A. from Columbia University.
