Christopher A. Sheldon (San Francisco) joined KKR in 2004 and is Co-Head of KKR’s Credit & Markets platform, which has oversight of KKR’s Capital Markets activities and KKR’s Credit business, including Leveraged Credit, Private Credit, and the Strategic Investments Group. Mr. Sheldon helped build the credit business since its inception in 2004. As a named Portfolio Manager, he oversees various strategies and serves as a member of multiple Investment Committees across KKR’s Public and Private Credit strategies. In addition to his firmwide responsibilities, Mr. Sheldon serves on the Board of Directors for SquashDrive and previously served on the Board of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) from 2017 to 2023. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Sheldon was a vice president and senior investment analyst with Wells Fargo's high yield securities group. Previously, Mr. Sheldon worked at Young & Rubicam Advertising and SFM Media Corporation in their media-planning departments. Mr. Sheldon holds a B.A. from Denison University.
