Cathy Cai (Beijing) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Partner and Head of KKR Capstone for Asia Pacific. She also serves as COO for KKR Greater China and a member of KKR Asian Portfolio Management Committee. Ms. Cai has played significant roles in the investment and management of many KKR’s portfolio companies including Qingdao Haier, NVC lighting, Quanyi Pharmacy, Kareway Healthcare, Rundong Auto. Before joining KKR, Ms. Cai spent over nine years with McKinsey & Company, where she was a core member of the Asia-Pacific practice leadership serving a broad range of clients on operational topics. Prior to that, Ms. Cai served as executive vice president for operations and board secretary at Pansky Technologies, a leading system integrator and software provider for financial services in China. Ms. Cai holds a B.A. with honors from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
